Any suggestions for improvement?

We build calculators that are as simple and intuitive as possible, with a few bonuses here and there. Tell us what would make this one better.

A working calculator on your page, in one copy and paste

The widget maker puts any Cooount calculator on another page: your website, your blog, a class page, a shop’s help section or a Notion workspace. You pick the calculator, check the preview and copy the code. The widget is not a picture of a calculator: it is the real one, working on your page exactly as it does here. Visitors type their numbers in the sentence, the result appears as they type, and Copy result puts it on their clipboard.

What you can embed

Every calculator on the site has its widget: percentages, discounts, VAT, margin and markup, loan payments, compound interest, unit price, tip and split, UK take-home pay, hourly to salary, proportions, average and the word counter. You can also start from the calculator itself: open its page, set it up, then tap Widget at the bottom left.

How it works

  • Code for a website. Copy code gives you a small HTML snippet: an iframe tag and a link. Paste it into an HTML or custom code block in WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Shopify or Google Sites.
  • Link for Notion. In Notion, type /embed, paste the link, then drag the corner of the block to resize it.
  • Size. Small (360 pixels wide) fits a blog sidebar, Medium (480 pixels) suits most pages, Large (760 pixels) is for wide pages. On a phone, the widget shrinks to fit the screen.
  • Color. The widget keeps the color of this page at the moment you copy the code. Pick another one with the Colors button at the bottom right and the preview follows.

Ideas for your site

  • Personal finance blogs. A loan payment calculator next to an article about mortgages, or compound interest under a post about saving, so readers can try their own numbers.
  • Shops and freelancers. A VAT calculator on an invoicing help page, or the margin and markup calculator in an internal wiki for the team that sets prices.
  • Teachers. The percentage or proportion calculator on a class page, and the average calculator so students can check a weighted grade.
  • Restaurants and travel guides. The tip calculator on a page about local customs.
  • Writers and editors. The word counter in a Notion page where drafts are prepared.

Rates that stay up to date

The widget always loads the latest version of the calculator. For the VAT and UK take-home pay calculators, that matters: when an official rate changes and we update it here, your widget shows the new rate too, with the date of the rates and the source under the result, without you touching your site. The same goes for any improvement to a calculator. If you ever want another size or color, come back to this page, set it up and replace the old code with the new one.

Respect for your visitors

The widget carries no ads and no analytics, and it sets no cookie on the site that embeds it. The numbers your visitors type stay in their own browser, just as they do on Cooount, and are not sent to you or to us. Under the widget, the code adds a small link to the calculator, so visitors can open it full size. You can keep it or remove it.

Several widgets on one page

You can put several widgets on the same page, for example a discount calculator and a VAT calculator on a pricing guide. Each one works on its own, with its own boxes and settings. What a visitor types is remembered in their browser, so they find their numbers again on their next visit.

On a phone

The widget adapts to the width of the screen. On a phone, the number keypad opens when a visitor taps a box. If a calculator looks cut off on your page, choose a larger size or give the block a little more height.

Questions

Are the widgets free?

Yes. Every widget is free, with no account and no visit limit. Copy the code and you are done.

How do I add a calculator to WordPress or Wix?

Tap Copy code, then add a Custom HTML block (WordPress), an Embed code element (Wix) or a Code block (Squarespace) and paste the code into it. Save the page and the calculator appears.

How do I put a calculator in Notion?

Tap Link for Notion, then in your Notion page type /embed, paste the link and confirm. You can resize the block with your mouse.

Does the widget have ads or tracking?

No. The widget has no ads, no analytics and no cookies. The numbers your visitors type stay in their browser.

Will the VAT and salary rates update in my widget?

Yes. The widget always shows the current version of the calculator, so when an official rate changes and we update it, your widget follows, with no change to your code.

Can I change the widget color?

Yes. The widget takes the color of the page when you copy the code. Change it with the Colors button at the bottom right, then copy the code again.
